Jellyfish
A jellyfish from Yoshi's Story.
First appearance Yoshi's Story (1997)
Comparable

Jellyfish[1][2][3][4] are enemies from Yoshi's Story. They appear only in the level Lots O'Jelly Fish. They are impervious to all methods of defeat and come in blue, red, and green (or light blue).[5] Blue jellyfish simply move up and down. Red jellyfish chase a Yoshi. Green jellyfish simply float in place and do not appear until the third part of the stage. Red jellyfish can sometimes have an item such as a fruit or a Heart Fruit.

Profiles and statistics

  • Shogakukan guide: 海の底でふんわりふわり。道を開ける気なんか、ありませ〜ん。[6] (Soft, floaty creatures at the bottom of the sea. They do not want to open the way.)
  • Nintendo 64 Spieleberater: Normalerweise sieht sie sehr schlecht, aber wenn ich ihr zu nahe komme, verfolgt sie mich.[7] (Normally she has very bad eyesight, but if I get too close, she chases me.)
