? Switch Panels give more time to a ? Switch Event when a Yoshi presses the ? Switch by Jumping on it. To trigger the ? Switch Panel, the Yoshi can simply use the Yoshi Egg to filp the panel to give more time on the ? Switch event. There are many of them in some levels. They also actually act like ? Switches, like when the Yoshi attempts to flip the panel to start the event when the panel is hit as it flips. Like the ? Switch, the panel will start the start if it is flipped by the Yoshi Egg. The event starts when the part of the level is changed as the Yoshi attempts to look around the area as the music starts. When the music goes fast-paced, the Yoshi hasn't much time on the event unless the Yoshi flips the ? Switch Panel with the Yoshi Egg.

Effect Adds time to a ? Switch event when triggered

Delay Switches,[1] or Timer Switches,[2] are objects that are found in Yoshi's Story. They give more time to a ? Switch event. To trigger a Delay Switch, a Yoshi must shoot an egg at it to flip it. There are many Delay Switches in certain levels. Delay Switches also act as ? Switches, so when a Yoshi attempts to flip one of the panels without pressing the ? Switch first, the event starts normally as if he pressed the ? Switch. When the music becomes sped-up, the Yoshi has little time left in the event unless he flips another Delay Switch with another egg.
