The Bonus Ring is a special equippable accessory item that can be obtained in the Starbeans Cafe in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake. As with all special items obtained in there, Professor E. Gadd shows up to taste a new type of brew that has not been made before. E. Gadd leaves behind the Bonus Ring if this is the second time the player has brewed a unique type of coffee, after the Greed Wallet. If a brother equips the Bonus Ring, he earns an EXP bonus if he wins the battle without taking any damage. In the original game, the EXP he'll earn will be doubled, while in the remake, they'll receive an extra 50% of their total.

The item's sprite is based off the Supply Ring from the Star Fox series, since Fox McCloud originally was supposed to come to the Starbeans Cafe to taste the drink, and the item was originally called the Gold Ring. While Fox was replaced by E. Gadd and the item renamed to loosen connection with the character, the item's sprite was left intact.
