It has been suggested that this page be moved to Beanbean Airport. Reason: Most common English name, with no use of the full "International" name in the remake according to the article; please confirm and either move to this title or correct the info. The NPC quote in the original version to compare it to is: "Muh huh huh... Huge news, baby! Hot off the press! The Mushroom Kingdom's Princess Peach is coming to visit this country! She's set to arrive shortly at Beanbean International Airport. You know, just south of town!" (discuss)

Beanbean International Airport, written as Beanbean Int'l Airport on signs and referred to as simply Beanbean Airport by most characters and the save screen, is located in the southern part of the Beanbean Kingdom and services Beanbean Air. The only known location to which Beanbean Air flies is the Mushroom Kingdom. In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, it is no longer referred to as Beanbean International Airport, though a sign in Beanbean Fields pointing to it still reads Beanbean Int'l Airport.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the airport is attacked by Piranha Plants and Mom Piranha. Peach wants to land in the airport with her plane but with all the Piranha Plants she cannot. Mario and Luigi have to defeat all the Piranha Plants, so the plane can land. However, simply engaging the Piranha Plants in battle is not enough, as when defeated, they promptly respawn. But a nearby set of water pumps solves the problem. Mario fills himself up with water, then spits it on a Piranha Plant. When wet, the Plant is then electrocuted by Luigi's Thunderhand move, killing the plant and its root, which leads to a large egg on the runway. After all the Piranha Plants are fried, the egg hatches, revealing Mom Piranha. After disposing of her, the runway is cleared, allowing Peach's plane access.

  • In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, the ends of the runway are designated 09/27. Since runways are numbered for their heading in decadegrees, this designates this runway aligned due east-west depending on where the aircraft lands from.
