Beanbean Airport is a location in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its 3DS remake. It services Beanbean Air on the southern part of the Beanbean Kingdom and travels to Mushroom Kingdom. The place is titled Beanbean Int'l Airport on signs, though not in the remake besides a sign in Beanbean Fields pointing to it.

Beanbean Airport is attacked by Piranha Plants and Mom Piranha at one point, making Peach and her plane unable to land. Mario and Luigi resolve it when Mario fills himself up with water before unleashing it on a Piranha Plant, then Luigi uses Thunderhand to get rid of the Piranha Plant completely. The Mario Bros. lastly fight Mom Piranha, who hatches from an egg, and when they defeat Mom Piranha, Peach's plane is able to land.

Notes[edit]

  • In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, the ends of the runway are designated 09/27. Since runways are numbered for their heading in decadegrees, this designates this runway aligned due east-west depending on where the aircraft lands.
