“If a spell is cast on me, I become tiny. I can't do anything when I'm tiny except run away.”
Wario, Wario Land II

Tiny Wario, also known as Small Wario, is one of Wario's many transformations in the Wario Land series. This transformation was first seen in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins after Mario defeated Fire Wario. When small, he does not wear a hat and is either a bald or has a mohawk, unlike his normal self. Like Small Mario, in the first Wario Land and in Virtual Boy Wario Land, he will become this when damaged by an enemy. The treasure hunter can no longer body-slam, and touching another monster means death. Tiny Wario can still throw coins, and pick up certain enemies. However, any type of pot can revert the antihero back into his pudgier self. Wario appeared as Tiny Wario in the North American commercial for Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.

In Wario Land II, Wario could not be defeated by any enemy. Instead, some of the foes triggered transformations. Tiny Wario was among these alterations. The status effect can only be caused by a Wizard. With a shake of its wand, the Wizard turns Wario tiny. In this state, Wario cannot attack any enemies, but he is able to leap higher, and go through small holes. The physical condition could be reversed if Wario falls into water or gets hit by an enemy. Also, the Wario Land II transformation is similar to the eventual Mini Mario form introduced in New Super Mario Bros.

In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Wario receives a small, pink motorbike from Penny that shrinks him and separates him into multiple Tiny Warios. Excluding microgame sets, it is the penultimate stage of the game, with Orbulon's stage being the last.

In Wario Land: Shake It!, a form of Wario called Mini Wario appears, but unlike Tiny Wario, it is just a smaller version of normal Wario with no physical changes whatsoever. This form is gained by going through a Mini Barrel's large opening, and it can be reversed by entering the smaller side.

In Game & Wario, robotic MechaWario minions resembling Tiny Wario are the main enemies in the minigame "Arrow".

Tiny Warios (in their Smooth Moves design) makes an appearance in the Wario... Where? challenge set of Rhythm Heaven Megamix. The set's version of Freeze Frame features Tiny Warios as the racers Dr. Crygor must take photos of, replacing the regular race cars from the original version.
