The Final Smash is a special move that is possible through the aid of a Smash Ball in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. After breaking open one of these items, its power flows into the fighter, charging him or her up. The fighter will begin to emit a yellow aura, and their eyes will turn yellow as well. The character will activate their Final Smash the next time the player uses their standard special move. However, if the fighter does not initiate the Final Smash soon enough, they can drop the Smash Ball if they get attacked enough times.

The games also have a function known as a Pity Final Smash[1] (called Easy Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U). If a fighter is KO'd while being five points or stocks behind the leading player, the fighter respawns with an Easy Final Smash. An Easy Final Smash serves the same functions as a normal Final Smash, but it has the advantage of not having a Smash Ball form, and therefore cannot be taken away by other fighters. Easy Final Smashes also return in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, but CPU players will not receive one even if the conditions are met.

The Final Smashes in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are much quicker and require little to no control, so players can return to fighting quickly. As a result, many fighters that had controllable/transformative Final Smashes received new, instant, and non-transformative Final Smashes (e.g. Super Dragon being replaced by Stampede!, and Konga Beat being replaced by Jungle Rush), although some retain their transformation effect (e.g. Giga Bowser Punch) or can still be affected by user input (e.g. Octopus and Super Sonic can be controlled vertically); while Final Smashes such as Shadow Mario Paint and Grand Star have been made less powerful. This game also introduces the FS Meter, where players can charge up a Final Smash with a meter under the damage meter. The Final Smashes released from these are much weaker, easier to dodge, and can be shielded against. When the player activates a Final Smash, a cut-in of the summoner's face briefly appears on-screen.

History

Most Final Smashes are based on the character's individual background in their series, like Zelda's and Sheik's Light Arrow. However, some have been invented specially for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, like Mario's Mario Finale. Although they were planned to be included in the original Super Smash Bros.[2] (an unused voice sample of Ness's announcing "PK Starstorm" can be found in the files), Final Smashes made their first appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Masahiro Sakurai compared the Final Smash as a more powerful, "majestic" Hammer item (found in all Super Smash Bros. games)[3], as all players rush to collect it, and the ones who didn't flee after it has been collected.

If he catches any opponents, they will be taken to a cutscene where Joker and three other members of the Phantom Thieves (Ryuji Sakamoto, Ann Takamaki, and Morgana, or Yusuke Kitagawa, Makoto Niijima, and Haru Okumura) perform an All-Out Attack from Persona 5. If Joker misses the first dash, he can turn around and dash in the opposite direction. If All-Out Attack is used to take the last stock or finish a stamina match, the victory screen will play without transitioning back to gameplay.  
Ancient Bow & Arrow Link Link takes out the Ancient Arrow from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and shoots at any opponents caught in the attack.  
ARMS Rush Min Min Min Min does a long punch forward. Any opponents caught by her will be bombarded by a series of punches from six other characters from ARMS: Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Ninjara, Twintelle, Mechanica, and Master Mummy. Min Min herself then uses the Dragon ARM on her left hand (which is in its dragon form) to fire a giant laser at the opponent.  
Aura Storm Lucario Lucario will launch into the air and fire an extremely large beam of aura down, damaging opponents. It can be controlled with the Control Stick and can go through any part of the stage. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Lucario Mega Evolves into Mega Lucario before initiating Aura Storm.  
Awakening Aether Chrom Chrom traps opponents with a slash. He will then step back before yelling, “Aether!” and strike forwards with a large slash at the players he caught.  
Beast Ganon Ganondorf Ganondorf transforms into Ganon from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, paralyzing opponents in front of him and burying grounded opponents by stomping down on the ground. He then charges across the stage, sending the opponents flying, followed by returning to his original position and form.  
Black Hole Laser Palutena Palutena traps opponents in a Black Hole and then fires a Mega Laser through it, both are powers from Kid Icarus: Uprising, greatly damaging and launching the trapped opponents.  
Blast-O-Matic King K. Rool King K. Rool traps players on Donkey Kong Island and fires a laser from his Blast-O-Matic to blow up the whole island, damaging players, referencing Donkey Kong 64 where failure to shutdown the machine in Hideout Helm will result in the island’s destruction.  
Blue Falcon Captain Falcon Captain Falcon calls his racecar, the Blue Falcon, which comes flying in from the screen. If it hits any opponents, the view will change to a race track looking similar to the Port Town Aero Dive stage with the opponents landing on it. Captain Falcon then runs over his opponents in the Blue Falcon at full force, launching them.  
Chain Attack Shulk Shulk summons Dunban and Riki from Xenoblade Chronicles (and Fiora in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate) and they perform a Chain Attack on the trapped opponent(s), just like how they do in the aforementioned game.  
Cook Kirby Kirby In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Kirby transforms into Cook Kirby and pulls out a giant soup pot which draws in nearby opponents and items. Opponents are then repeatedly damaged and launched, along with the pot shooting out various healing items.  
Covering Fire Snake Snake throws a flare grenade to signal an airstrike. The player then aims a reticle at the screen and any opponents near the reticle will have a home-in icon on them. When Snake fires, five heat-seeking missiles will aim for those opponents.  
Critical Hit Marth Marth/Lucina raises their sword and then charges forward at a high speed, launching any opponent in their way. If there is no opponent, Marth/Lucina will continue a set distance or stop at a ledge. A Health Meter will appear during the attack, but it has no effect on the gameplay and is purely cosmetic.

Roy Unlike Lucina and Marth, Roy's Critical Hit needs to be activated when he is near opponents. He slowly swings his sword in an overhead arch, trapping opponents, then quickly brings his sword down, creating a large blast with a high KO potential. Like with Marth and Lucina, a Health Meter will appear during the attack, but it has no effect on the gameplay and is purely cosmetic.  
Daisy Blossom Princess Daisy Daisy starts dancing, which causes opponents to fall asleep. Daisies will also appear on the stage, which allow Daisy to heal any damage done to her.  
Darkness Illusion Meta Knight Meta Knight holds his sword up and causes an electric attack with it. If it hits anyone, he will do a bunch of slashes in the air on them from many different directions before launching them sideways.  
Dark Pit Staff Dark Pit Dark Pit fires a bolt from his Dark Pit Staff in a straight line, launching those in the line of fire. Those closer to Dark Pit will receive greater damage and launch further. The move also penetrates shields.  
Dedede Burst King Dedede In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, King Dedede uses his inhaling ability to suck in nearby opponents, rapidly attacks them with his flaming hammer, and finally launches them by throwing a bomb at the trapped opponents.  
Dede-rush King Dedede sends one other fighter to a cage where he unleashes a ton of missiles at that fighter. Then, in his Masked Dedede form (originating in Kirby Super Star Ultra), he uses his Jet Hammer to do a final slam on them.  
Diffusion Beam R.O.B. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, R.O.B. will have swirling lasers coming out of his eyes. He can move freely during his Final Smash and any opponent caught in the lasers will be trapped and have massive damage dealt to them. After about ten seconds, R.O.B.'s Final Smash will end.  
Doctor Finale Dr. Mario Dr. Mario fires two giant Megavitamins that travel across the screen, getting bigger and traveling wider as they go. Any opponents caught in it will be damaged and carried off.

Villager Tom Nook, Timmy, and Tommy build a house/town hall around a captured opponent for the Villager/Isabelle respectively, which instantly explodes, causing damage to any opponents in range, with the most damage occurring to the captured opponent. File:Villager Final Smash.jpg

End of Day Captain Olimar Olimar (or Alph) gets into the Hocotate Ship and flies off camera, whilst Red Bulborbs appear on the bottom of the screen, attacking opponents. His ship then crashes back down and launches any opponents in the blast radius.  
Final Edge Mii Swordfighter The Mii Swordfighter lifts its sword and unleashes many low-knockback energy blasts in their facing direction. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the waves come out much faster.  
Full Blast Mii Gunner The Mii Gunner shoots a strong laser with two smaller lasers surrounding it. The laser can be angled and the opponents in range will be launched at the end of the attack.  
Galaxia Darkness Meta Knight Meta Knight swipes his cape in front of himself. The screen then goes black, and anyone caught inside will be slashed powerfully. Bystanders who are close enough may also get caught in the darkness.  
Ganon, The Demon King Ganondorf Ganondorf transforms into Ganon from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, paralyzing opponents in front of him and by slashing his swords in front of him. He then charges across the stage, sending the opponents flying, followed by returning to his original position and form.  
Giga Bowser Bowser Bowser transforms into Giga Bowser. He can move around freely and his attacks remain the same, but they are stronger and he cannot flinch, though he will still take damage. Some of his attacks also have added effects, such as ice and darkness. Taking damage will reduce the amount of time spent in this transformation.  
Giga Bowser Punch Bowser transforms into a giant Giga Bowser and moves to the background. He will then proceed to aim at players and punch them for heavy damage.  
Giga Mac Little Mac Little Mac transforms into Giga Mac, making him far more powerful. It is very similar to Bowser's Giga Bowser Final Smash.  
Giga Mac Rush Little Mac transforms into Giga Mac and does a punch to trap opponents. He will then do a series of rapid punches on the trapped opponents before finishing with an uppercut and turning back to normal.  
Gigaslash Hero The Hero charges up his sword and strikes it forwards. If any opponents are caught, the Hero teams up with seven other iterations of the Hero (specifically the ones from Dragon Quest, II, V, VI, VII, IX, and X), who join their weapons together to form an electrical charge, which the playable Hero uses to perform a single slash.  
Grand Cross Simon Belmont Simon/Richter will trap players in a coffin. He will use his whip, Vampire Killer, to throw the coffin up before using Grand Cross from the Castlevania games to destroy the coffin and damage the players in it.

Great Aether Ike Ike swings his sword and brings any attacked opponents into the air, launching a barrage of strikes and then brings his opponents to the ground, launching them. If the first swing misses, the Final Smash will fail.  
Grenade Launcher Snake Snake jumps into the air and into a helicopter where he will receive a grenade launcher. The player can aim the reticle and press an attack button to fire grenades at opponents. After twelve shots or enough time has passed, Snake will return to the stage.  
Guided Robo Beam R.O.B. R.O.B takes a stance and fires a set of small lasers that home in on opponents. He then starts firing a large green laser which eventually becomes massive. The player can control its angle during that time.  
Gunship Zero Suit Samus In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Zero Suit Samus has a new Final Smash, due to being a separate character from Samus. Her new Final Smash involves her jumping into her Gunship and firing lasers at the opponents.  
House of Boom Steve Steve (or Alex, Zombie, and Enderman) brings out a giant piston which releases itself forward. If an opponent is caught by it, they will be pushed into a dark Minecraft structure filled with Zombies, Creepers, and TNT. The latter two will cause the building to explode launching the opponent away while Steve eats a steak in victory.
Hyper Rocketbarrel Diddy Kong Diddy Kong equips his Jetbarrel and zips across the screen in many different directions. At the end, he homes in on one random player and the Rocketbarrels will explode on them.  
Iceberg Ice Climbers The Ice Climbers summon a massive iceberg that freezes and damages nearby opponents. The iceberg can be attacked, which will limit the amount of time it is present. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the leading Ice Climber will ride on a condor while the Final Smash is in effect and they have the ability to move the iceberg around.  
Infernal Climax Bayonetta Bayonetta triggers a stage-wide Witch Time in which she can attack opponents to fill the gauge. When it is filled, she summons Gomorrah to chomp on the opponents repeatedly and launches them. If an opponent has their damage percentage over 100 when the Final Smash ends, they will instantly lose a stock.  
Jungle Rush Donkey Kong Donkey Kong will do a punch to trap players. Any opponents caught will be treated to a series of rapid punches from Donkey Kong before he finishes with an uppercut. This references Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.  
Killer Wail Inkling The Inkling will take out the Killer Wail, which will fire at the players, damaging them and pushing them.  
Konga Beat Donkey Kong Donkey Kong pulls out a pair of bongos and start playing them with Donkey Kong Country music replacing the current background music. The music waves surrounding the bongos will damage opponents and the length of the waves increases if the player presses an attack button with proper timing to the beat.  
Landmaster Falco Lombardi Falco will summon a Landmaster which lasts for 18 seconds. During that, he may use its array of weapons against opponents. It has the least power out of all three Landmasters. However, it is easier to control in the air, and can easily carry opponents off the top of the screen.  
Fox McCloud Fox will summon a Landmaster which lasts for 18 seconds. During that, he may use its array of weapons against opponents. It is more powerful than Falco's Landmaster, but it is the slowest Landmaster. It is generally "balanced" when compared to the other two Landmasters.  
Wolf O'Donnell Wolf will summon a Landmaster which lasts only for 12 seconds. During that, he may use its array of weapons against opponents. It has the most power, speed and maneuverability out of all three.  
Light Arrow Sheik The character takes out a bow and fires a beam of light straight across the stage. Any opponents in the line of fire will be launched and the beam can penetrate shields. Opponents closer to the character will receive more damage and be launched further.  
Zelda  
Lightning Chariot Pit Pit will summon and ride the Lightning Chariot from Kid Icarus: Uprising. The player then aims a reticle at a location on the screen and the Lightning Chariot will strike through that area causing damage to opponents in range, similar to the Dragoon.  
Mario Finale Mario Mario fires a giant wave of flames that travels across the screen. Any opponents caught in it will be damaged and carried away.  
Max Malicious Moonsault Incineroar Incineroar dashes forwards and attempts to grab an opponent in front of it. If it does, it will take them to a setting similar to Boxing Ring and perform a bunch of uppercuts on them before finishing with a headbutt back down, which causes an explosion. The whole attack references its Z-Move from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.  
Mega Evolution Charizard In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Charizard transforms into Mega Charizard X from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. In this form, Charizard can fly around the stage, shoot Fire Blasts, and spin into opponents. After a set time has passed, Charizard will return to normal, but the time will decrease if Charizard is damaged.  
Lucario In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Lucario transforms into Mega Lucario from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Unlike Mega Charizard, Mega Lucario does not gain any new attacks, but all of Lucario's attacks have their damage output increased as if Lucario was at 300% damage. After a set time has passed, Lucario will return to normal, but the time will decrease if Lucario is damaged.  
Mega Legends Mega Man Mega Man fires a Black Hole Bomb, a weapon from Mega Man 9, that can suck in opponents. He then appears alongside Mega Man X, MegaMan.EXE, Mega Man Volnutt, and Star Force Mega Man (and Proto Man and Bass in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate), all of which fire lasers at the opponents and launch them.  
Negative Zone Luigi In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Luigi starts dancing and causes a large green circle to appear. Any opponents in the circle's radius will have a variety of things happen to them, such as tripping rapidly, falling asleep, or constantly taunting uncontrollably.  
NES Zapper Posse Duck Hunt The Duck Hunt dog summons a group of 8-bit ducks, which fly into the background, trapping opponents who touch them in the middle of a gun duel consisting of the Wild Gunmen versus the thugs from Hogan's Alley. During this scene, the Wild Gunmen repeatedly shoot and defeat the thugs, sending cans, ducks, and any trapped opponents flying.  
Octopus Mr. Game & Watch Mr. Game & Watch transforms into an octopus and then attacks by either extending his tentacles or ramming opponents. He can also move around and jump in this form.
Mr. Game & Watch transforms into an octopus and floats across the stage, using his head to damage players above and picking up players in his way with his arms, where he will proceed to carry them to the blast line and KO them. During this, the player can control the Octopus's up and down movement.
Omega Blitz Mii Brawler The Mii Brawler punches its opponent, sending them into the air. The Mii then proceeds by throwing multiple punches and kick combos on the opponents, followed by finishing with a strong impulsive punch launching the foe downwards, dealing a lot of knockback damage.  
Omnislash Cloud Strife Cloud rushes forward and slashes any caught opponents upward into the air. Cloud then jumps to the opponents and launches a barrage of sword strikes followed by dragging the opponents down to the ground, creating a large explosion.  
Pair Up Robin Robin sends out Chrom, the main protagonist of Fire Emblem Awakening, who rushes forward to strike an opponent. Any opponents in range will be brought into the air, where Robin and Chrom launch several attacks before launching the opponents into the ground.

Despite Chrom being a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, he is still summoned for Pair Up in that game.[4]

 
Palutena's Army Pit In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Pit summons Palutena, who orders an army of Centurions to charge forward at opponents, dealing damage.  
Peach Blossom Princess Peach Peach starts dancing, which causes opponents to fall asleep. Peaches will also appear on the stage, which allow Peach to heal any damage done to her.  
Petey Piranha Piranha Plant The Piranha Plant summons Petey Piranha (who wields his cages from Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode), and he jumps around, damaging players and trapping them inside his cages. He then breathes fire on the cages and slams them down.  
Phazon Laser Dark Samus Dark Samus unleashes a powerful charging beam that damage and knock opponents off screen. It is based off of Samus' Zero Laser, but recolored to reflect her Phazon enhanced abilities.  
PK Starstorm Lucas Ness or Lucas summons several PSI Comets which fall straight down from the air damaging opponents. It covers the entire stage, but is less effective on larger stages. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, both of their PK Starstorm falls in a straight line and the player can angle the starstorm to aim for opponents. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, PK Starstorm acts like a mix between the two; a scatter of meteors that can be angled. Additionally, Paula and Poo from EarthBound assist Ness while Kumatora and Boney from Mother 3 assist Lucas.

Plasma Scream Ridley Ridley will quickly dash forwards. Players caught in the dash will get thrown onto Samus's Gunship, which begins to fly forwards. When it gets in Ridley's view, he will charge up and fire a laser that blows up the Gunship and do damage to the players inside. Afterwards, the Gunship can be seen crash-landing in the background.  
Poltergust 5000 Luigi In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Luigi's Final Smash is changed to the Poltergust 5000. Luigi begins sucking nearby opponents into his vacuum which deals repeated damage. After a short period of time, the trapped opponents will be shot out of the vacuum. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, while the move is the same, Luigi now uses the Poltergust G-00 from Luigi's Mansion 3.

Power Suit Samus Zero Suit Samus In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Zero Suit Samus will summon her Power Suit and transform into the fully armored Samus. Any opponents caught in the transformation will be repeatedly damaged and launched.  
Power Star/Grand Star Rosalina & Luma Rosalina summons a Power Star, which shoots a plethora of smaller stars around the stage, damaging opponents. The Power Star grows in size as it shoots the smaller stars and explodes at the end of the Final Smash. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, she summons a Grand Star instead.  
Progenitor God Ruptured Heaven Byleth Byleth performs a slash in front of them. Any opponents that are caught get caught in a scene where Byleth fuses with Sothis and uses the Sword of the Creator's whip to do large damage to opponents.  
Psystrike Mewtwo Mewtwo evolves into Mega Mewtwo Y and throws a giant psychic sphere in the direction Mewtwo is facing. Any opponents caught in this will be paralyzed for a brief moment before being launched.  
Puff Up Jigglypuff Jigglypuff grows massively in size. Any opponents that touch Jigglypuff will bounce off. They will be knocked back further if hit when Jigglypuff reaches its peak height.  
Rocketbarrel Barrage Diddy Kong Diddy Kong equips his Jetbarrel and Peanut Popguns and starts flying around the stage firing explosive peanuts at opponents.  
Secret Ninja Attack Greninja Greninja kicks up a mat in front of itself and any opponent it catches is flung into the air. Greninja then repeatedly slashes the trapped foe, using Double Team to strike multiple times. After enough hits, Greninja performs a final attack that ends the Final Smash. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Greninja transforms into Ash-Greninja from the XY series of Pokémon anime before initiating the attack.  
Shadow Mario Paint Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr. turns into Shadow Mario and paints a giant "X" across the screen. Any player that comes in contact with it will take damage until it explodes, which will launch opponents.  
Sheikah Dance Sheik Similar to Triforce Slash, Sheik will take out her blades and dash forward while a Sheikah symbol appears while the screen becomes completely black. Any opponents caught will get slashed repeatedly by Sheik, before she does a final strike.  
Shin Shoryuken Ryu Ryu traps the opponent in a powerful three-hit combo, sending the opponent skyward. This is performed if the Final Smash was activated next to an opponent.  
Shinku Hadoken Ryu launches a larger Hadouken, which pulls opponents towards it and hits multiple times. This is performed if there are no opponents in Ryu's immediate striking range.  
Shinryuken Ken Masters Ken performs an uppercut that summons a large pillar of fire to do damage to opponents. This is performed if there are no opponents in Ken's immediate striking range.  
Shippu Jinraikyaku Ken kicks his opponent on the ground several times, before beginning to carry them upward with a rapid helicopter kick. The move ends with one final intense kick to the opponent. This is performed if the Final Smash was activated next to an opponent.  
Stampede! Yoshi Yoshi sends players he catches into a rocky canyon like setting, where a bunch of multi-colored Yoshis stampede through (referencing the opening to Super Smash Bros. Melee) and run over the player(s) in the process.  
Super Diffusion Beam R.O.B. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, R.O.B's new Final Smash involves him transforming into a blaster-like device, and then shooting a giant laser beam in one direction. At the end of the attack, R.O.B. will cause a large energy blast to knockback opponents.  
Super Dragon Yoshi Yoshi transforms into Winged Yoshi and is able to fly freely around the stage. In this form, Yoshi can fire large fireballs.  
Super Pac-Man Pac-Man Pac-Man transforms into a large version of his 2D sprite from the original arcade Pac-Man. He can then damage opponents in a similar manner to the ghosts in the aforementioned game after collecting a Power Pellet. Additionally, Pac-Man can move freely around the stage, using similar controls to the arcade game.
Pac-Man transforms into Super Pac-Man and zips across the screen eating opponents. During this state, the player can control Pac Man’s aim to attack opponents.
Super Sonic Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic summons the Chaos Emeralds and transforms into Super Sonic. In this form, he can fly around the stage at high speeds, severely damaging any opponent he touches. He moves extremely fast and cannot be KO'd during the Final Smash (even if he flies off the screen).
Sonic uses the Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Sonic and zips across the screen at extreme speed. The player can control Sonic’s vertical movement.
Team Star Fox Falco Lombardi Falco summons a gang of Arwings that trap players in space. Team Star Fox will then start flying in space and Falco yells out, "Time for a little playback" (if he catches multiple opponents, he will instead say, "We've got multiple bogies inbound!"). All four Arwings fire a series of lasers that explode on the trapped opponent(s), launching them. Falco's version launches opponents more vertically than Fox's.  
Fox McCloud Fox summons a gang of Arwings that trap players in space. Team Star Fox will then start flying in space and Fox yells out, "Star Fox! Fire at will!" (if he catches Wolf, he will instead say, "This is the end for you, Wolf!"). All four Arwings fire a series of lasers that explode on the trapped opponent(s), launching them.  
Team Star Wolf Wolf O'Donnell Wolf summons a gang of Wolfens that trap players in space. Team Star Wolf will then start flying in space and Wolf yells out, "Grahaha! The hunt is on, boys!" All four Wolfens fire a series of lasers that explode on the trapped opponent(s), launching them. Wolf's version launches opponents more horizontally compared to Fox's version.  
The Mighty Jinjonator Banjo & Kazooie Banjo and Kazooie summon a giant Jinjo statue. If it hits an opponent, four Jinjos will fuse with the statue awakening the Mighty Jinjonator from Banjo-Kazooie. It will then strike the captured opponent from multiple directions before finishing off with a final strike.  
Three Sacred Treasures Pit In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Pit's Final Smash has been changed to the Three Sacred Treasures, due to Palutena now being a playable character. The attack sends many beams that home in on opponents, followed by several large beams that cover the stage.  
Torrential Roar Corrin Corrin stomps the ground in dragon form, creating two light columns that bring Corrin and the opponents to a rocky location. Corrin then summons a large whirlpool that washes opponents offstage.  
Triforce Slash Link The Link initiating the Final Smash fires an arrow and uses the Triforce to trap an opponent in range. He then slashes at the opponent repeatedly, with the final one launching them away. Toon Link's version has less range than Link's.

Triforce of Wisdom Zelda Zelda summons the Triforce of Wisdom that traps opponents, damages them, and launches them. If their damage is over 100%, then they will be instantly KO'd.  
Triple Finish Pokémon Trainer Pokémon Trainer calls out all three Pokémon and they use their most powerful attacks (Hydro Pump for Squirtle, Solar Beam for Ivysaur, and Fire Blast for Charizard). The range of the attacks are quite large and will damage and launch opponents in range.  
Triple Wolf Terry Terry starts by sending a Triple Geyser out. Terry will then perform a Power Dunk on a single opponent before finishing with a Buster Wolf.  
Ultra Sword Kirby In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Kirby's Final Smash has been changed to the Ultra Sword. Kirby pulls out a large sword and rapidly attacks his opponent(s) in range.  
Volt Tackle Pikachu Pikachu charges up a lot of electricity and then flies around the stage damaging any opponents it touches. If the A button is pressed, more electricity will be emitted. The Final Smash is rather difficult to control compared to other transformations.
Pikachu/Pichu turns into an electric ball and charges forward. If it catches opponents, they will zip across the stage attacking the players they caught. If they miss, they could have a chance of being KO'd. Pichu's version, while stronger than Pikachu's, does recoil damage to it during the Final Smash.

Waddle Dee Army King Dedede In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, King Dedede summons a bunch of Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos, and Gordos that charge across the screen, damaging any opponents they hit.  
Wario-Man Wario Wario transforms into Wario-Man gaining invincibility and causing his normal attacks to do more damage. He moves incredibly fast in this form, and his aerial attacks even give him the ability to fly (he will rise in the air whenever he performs an aerial attack, with the exception of his down aerial attack which causes him to plummet downward). After enough time has passed, he will return to normal.  
Wario dashes forwards and opponents caught are taken to a comic book like setting. There, Wario, now transformed into Wario-Man, does a bunch of attacks on the opponents in all different directions before finishing off with a waft, launching them.  
Wii Fit Wii Fit Trainer The Wii Fit Trainer performs a Warrior poses before sending out a bunch of Wit Fit pose silhouettes to attack players and push them off the screen. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, while the poses do not go as far, the Wii Fit Trainer will send a large silhouette out as the final attack.  
Zero Laser Samus Samus unleashes a powerful charging beam that damage and knock opponents off screen. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Samus's Power Suit is destroyed after the attack, turning her into Zero Suit Samus while from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U onwards, Samus no longer transforms into Zero Suit Samus after she uses this move, since they are now separate characters.  
Zero Suit Samus While it has the same name, Zero Suit Samus' version of Zero Laser functions differently than Samus'. Zero Suit Samus wears her Power Suit and jumps on to her Gunship, which lies in the background. She will then fire her Zero Laser at the stage, which the player can control to hit the opponents.
