Inhabitants Various unknown creatures

The Forest of Perpetual Night and Terrible Dangers is a large forest appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "King Mario of Cramalot." It is based on Brocéliande, an enchanted forest appearing in the Legend of King Arthur.

The Forest of Perpetual Night and Terrible Dangers is seemingly inhabited by dozens of creatures, the eyes of which are only ever seen. The trees of the forest are also menacing in appearance, and a large, mystical lake is located in the middle of the forest. The forest is apparently located close to Cramalot Castle, as evidenced by Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Toadstool, and Mervin being able to leave the forest and reach the castle in a few minutes by walking.
