The goal ring is an object found in the Challenge Mode of New Super Mario Bros. U. It is a cyan and blue-striped ring with a red flag on top. They are used as a substitute to the Goal Poles found in side-scrolling levels. When a player passes through a goal ring, the timer stops and the challenge ends.
