A star[1] is an enemy in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Stars are mainly in the star stage, but there is one at the secret level of the Space Zone. Clusters of them form a wall that cannot be passed, and they sometimes move back and forth in space. The enemies can be defeated using a Super Star. Stars are pictured with a variation of the Starman artwork from Super Mario Bros., depicting a smile instead of a frown like in-game.

You're a star, but you're the enemy?

Unless they are the only name available, names unique to the Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia are denoted as such in the "Notes" column.
