Information Booths[1] (or Info Booths in the Macintosh version) are kiosks in the PC, SNES and NES versions of Mario is Missing!

A curator in the Information Booth guards the landmark in every city. At the start of each city, Information Booths are closed until the player returns the stolen artifact. Luigi must return the artifacts to the landmark it complements and answer all of the questions correctly. On the city maps, a blue "i" icon indicates the location of the Information Booth. The goal of the game is to return all artifacts to their respective booths before leaving the city.

In the PC versions, Luigi can grab a pamphlet to read the information about the landmark. He can communicate to the curator by calling the phone number based on the kiosk's number while at its location. Luigi can ask the curator why the landmark is closed, apologize for dialing the "wrong number", and return the artifact. If he chooses the respond with the two former options or gives the wrong artifact for the landmark, the curator will end the call and Luigi cannot dial until he leaves and returns to the kiosk. After returning the artifact, Luigi can enter the booth and take a photo and video of the landmark.

In the SNES version, the curator is visible in the booth. Luigi can ask the curator why the landmark is closed or return the artifact. If Luigi asks the former, the curator will explain why the landmark is closed and give him the pamphlet. If Luigi gives the wrong artifact, the curator will decline, but will not ignore Luigi if he chooses to talk to her again. However, unlike the two former, if he answers a question incorrectly the curator will ignore him until he leaves and returns. After returning the artifact, Luigi can enter the booth and take a photo of the landmark.

In the NES version, Luigi can ask the curator why the landmark is closed or return the artifact. When answering the quiz, he can choose to decline asking the question. After returning the artifact, the curator disappears while a sign indicates that the booth is open. However, he cannot enter the booth to take a photo of the landmark.
