After the title screen finishes loading, pressing L, R, Select and Start will result the menu to appear that comes with a sound test, a starting castle modifier and the "Show Loot" option.
- Show Loot allows the player to see a Koopa holding an artifact.
- Castle allows the player to choose either the first, second or third floor for Luigi to start.
