Hidden blocks in Beanbean Castle Town house "sparkling".
Even though the placement of the blocks is the same, there are two things that differ from the original game: If the Bros. stand near the place with the hidden blocks for long enough, their location is revealed by sparkling, although this process can be bypassed by the Secret Specs, which are obtained by blending five different drinks at Starbeans Cafe, which if equipped to either bro. will allow the player to see the invisible blocks in the form of a white outline (also how they will be presented in this list) and the listing of all blocks in the game (hidden included), feature which returns from Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.
From the eastern entrance to Beanbean Castle Town, the Mario Bros. should head south past the bridge into the next area, then immediately east until they find a long green platform that can be reached by High Jumping up it. Going east into the next area, the Bros. will find the edges of the platform blocked off by a cage, with the block in the middle.
From Beanbean Castle Gate, the Mario Bros. should head west into the next screen with the building housing Warp Pipe. Luigi should hammer Mario from behind to make him small. As Small Mario, he should jump into the hole leading the next maze-like area. In the hedge maze, Mario should then go all the way east into a corner, then move north and follow the path until he approaches three paths going north. By taking the the immediate path, Mario should continue the path until he reaches another passageway into the castle itself. In this dead end room are five Hidden Blocks: two close to the wall and three to the front.
In the shaded area outside Mother Chuckalola, from the southern entrance, the Mario Bros. should take the eastern path until they come across a set of two Beanbean tiles. One is seen in the southwestern corner of the northern tile and another one is found north of the previous block.
In the same pathway, the Mario Bros. should continue north until they find a lone Beanbean tile with block above it.
In the northeastern area of the first starry room, on the low platform.
In the Generator Service Room, Luigi should hammer Mario from behind to make him small. As Small Mario, he should go through the hole in the southwest and climb up the steps then continue all the way north on a path that encompasses the entire room until he reaches the small red arrow leading him to the next area. Down the steps to the lowest ground in the seemingly "empty" room are four Hidden Blocks.
In the first room past the third shutter, from the first starry area, is a lone platform in the southwest.
In the area with the Mushroom Embassy building, the Mario Bros. should find a high platform in the east that can be reached by High Jumping to it, and again to the top of the giant yellow mushroom. There, the Bros. should Spin Jump west to the next mushrooms until they reach the final one.
In the area one screen north and one screen west from the platform to Teehee Valley, the Mario Bros. should encounter a set of stairs in the west. Going up these stairs to the highest point, the Bros. should then Spin Jump across to the yellow mushroom, then again to another one and continue to move east past the bridge to the next area.
As Luigi, from the platform to Little Fungitown, he should head south one screen and immediately to the west to find an elevator that will rise with only one person on it. Taking the elevator and going west, Luigi should continue along the path until he finds a breakable gray block. After shattering it, he should then head east and follow the path until he reaches a dead end. Alternatively, with both brothers, the player should enter Teehee Valley from the Hoohoo Mountain Base. In the first area, the Bros. should High Jump over the platform, and continue east into the next area. There the Bros. should head east, then work their way north and west through the canyons to the next area. In the same area where Luigi shattered the first boulder, the Bros. should take the eastern path and follow it to the dead end.
