Sergeant Flutter, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

Sergeant Flutter is a gray-shelled Paratroopa who commands a squadron of regular Paratroopas in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. At Monstermama's request, he and his troops help Mario ascend the steep cliff at the end of Land's End. By hopping from Paratroopa to Paratroopa, Mario can reach the top and the entrance to Bean Valley. Additionally, if Mario completes the task fast enough, he may be rewarded the Troopa Medal and some Frog Coins.

He is also very serious and punctual even around close friends like Monstermama, though he proves himself understanding when trying to comfort Mario if he happens to fail at climbing Land's End's cliff.
