In a special Super Smash Bros. Ultimate event running from December 27, 2018 to January 1, 2019, there was a spirit called the "Golden Dash Mushroom". Despite the name, the artwork from it was actually a Golden Mushroom from Mario Kart 8, insinuating that the naming was a mistake.
