Item description, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

The Whomp Glove is a weapon for Mallow in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Its artwork depicts it as an extendable boxing glove, though in the game itself Mallow uses his own stretching arms when attacking with it. It acts as a stronger version of Mallow's default weaponless punch attack, and like it, a timed hit can be performed by pressing the button as he first punches, causing him to punch again. Unlike the default attack, the second punch is done with both arms at once. The Whomp Glove has an attack power of 35 points with a random variation of up to four points above and below. They can be bought from the shop in Marrymore's hotel or from the Shaman merchant at the sea or Sunken Ship for 88 coins. The Sticky Glove is a stronger counterpart to it.
