Painspout, originally known as Drain Beam, is an attack used by enemies in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. This attack consists of a large column of water that deals significant damage to all party members. The original name is misleading, since it doesn't actually recover the user's health. In the remake, it is depicted like jets of water coming from beneath the targets.
