Template:Justreleased Template:Infobox Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is a sports title for the Wii and Nintendo 3DS and the third installment of the Mario & Sonic series. New sports, such as football and horse riding, along with other athletic events, debut in the Wii version, while 50 new and original sports are confirmed to appear in the 3DS version.[1] All twenty playable characters return from the previous installment[2]. The game takes place in London, home of the 2012 Summer Olympics.

  • This is the first Mario & Sonic game to feature the new Sonic voice actors, with the exception of Dr. Eggman, who kept his voice actor.
  • This title's box art uses a different color scheme than the traditional white coloring, using the color yellow instead.[20]
