Due to the large amount of water in the area, several of Cotton-Top Cove's areas are located underwater among the fish and coral reefs.

Cotton-Top Cove was used as a vacation location in Northern Kremisphere, but Kremling remnants led by KAOS chased all tourists away.[1]

Blue Bear is located in his beach hut near the beginning of the area. Also Cotton-Top Cove's Banana Bird Cave is located fairly close to the area's beginning, in between the road and waterfall.

The boss of Cotton-Top Cove is a bizarre slug-like creature called Squirt, who is located behind a waterfall to the east of the area.
