'''Squirt''' is a large rock-dwelling slug.  This creature is located in the [[Cotton-Top Cove]] region of the [[Northern Kremisphere]], and is also the [[List of bosses|boss]] of this region during the events of ''[[Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!]]''.  The [[Kong]]s battle Squirt as [[Ellie the Elephant]] in its domain behind the waterfall named '''Squirt's Showdown'''. Squirt shoots a continuous stream of water out of its mouth, which will knock the animal off the arena, rather than hurting her; it does so for longer the more it is hit. Ellie can attack by sucking in water from the waterfall and shooting it at Squirt's eyes; she must hit each eye twice to for it to count, and do so three times total to win.
In the [[Donkey Kong Country 3 (Game Boy Advance)|Game Boy Advance version]], the boss battle was slightly altered, as Squirt takes five hits to defeat. After the original three hits, Squirt begins shooting out two streams of water in opposite directions, and after another hit, Squirt has both streams circle the area at different speeds. Additionally, when Squirt is defeated, its face falls off the waterfall, which also stops flowing.

When Squirt is defeated, it will drop a [[Ski]]. Once the Kongs collect both Skis (the other one is held by [[KAOS]]), [[Funky Kong]] will be able to use them to build the [[Turbo Ski]].

In the [[Game Boy Advance]] [[remake]], Squirt can now shoot two streams of water in two ways: it can essentially split the arena in half, or have both streams circling the area at different speeds. It also squirts water in different patterns, and takes two more "hits" to go down. Its streams also look more like water. When defeated, its face falls off and the waterfall no longer has water.


Squirt is one of only two bosses from ''Donkey Kong Country 3'' not to reappear in ''[[Donkey Kong Land III]]'', the other being [[Belcha]].

Squirt is a large creature resembling a slug (although it has also been described as a "lizard-thing"[1]) who appears in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! as the boss of Cotton Top Cove.
