Template:Levelbox Fish Food Frenzy is the fifteenth level in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and the fifth level of Cotton-Top Cove.
Summary
In the level, a Nibbla follows after Dixie and Kiddy throughout the level from start to finish. The Nibbla starts out light blue, and it does not hurt the Kongs on first sight. Over time, Nibbla's color changes from blue to bright red, signifying the fact that it is hungry. When the Nibbla is bright red, it bites the lead Kong. To keep Nibbla calm, the Kongs must direct it to Kocos along their path. Conversely, if Nibbla eats a Lurchin, it becomes more upset. At the end, there is a No Animal Sign for Nibbla despite it being an enemy and not an Animal Friend.
Layout
The level begins with a straight pathway leading to a few Kocos. The apes should feed the Nibbla these Kocos on the way and enter an open area with the letter K, as well as some Lurchins. The apes will need to continue through the level and head downwards past a few more enemies for the Nibbla to eat. Soon, they will make their way upwards and spot an arrow pointing to the left, made by a formation of bananas. They should follow the arrow and swim through an area full of Lurchins. Keeping the Nibbla from eating them, the Kongs should move along and quickly head downwards to progress, finding the letter O. Continuing through the level will take them through an area with a few Lurchins swimming out of small gaps. They should dodge the enemies and keep the Nibbla away from them. Eventually, the group will travel through a U shaped pathway with the Star Barrel.
About halfway into the level, the heroes will need to head down a narrow pathway, passing a few Lurchins. They will soon find the letter N in a rather large alcove, as well as another pathway heading downwards. Soon after that, the apes will notice a banana trail leading into a narrow passage. With their Nibbla eating the Kocos in the monkeys' way, the heroes should get through and enter a wider area with a lone Lurchin guarding a Bear Coin, along with a few bananas. If the apes continue from there, they will find themselves in another narrow passage, where they will encounter a few Lurchins swimming out of thin gaps. Once they pass all the enemies safely, Kiddy Kong and Dixie Kong will need to keep swimming through the level's long pathways, passing a few more Lurchins. Eventually, they will find the letter G in another large alcove. Proceeding from there, the pathway in which the Kongs must follow will become thinner and filled with more enemies, including Lurchins shooting out of more small gaps. If the apes manage to get through these areas, they will eventually find the entrance to a cave, where the Nibbla will stop following them. Inside of the cave, the group will find a flagpole. If they raise its flag, the level will end.
