Lemmingtons are enemies in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. The Prima Games guide refers to them as "deranged hamsters,"[1] presumably due to their hamster wheels. Their name comes from their species combined with the name "Remington," which their Japanese name can be translated to. Unlike the other Snowmad species, Lemmingtons do not have any variants or derived species of their own. Lemmingtons run around in their spiked hamster wheels, which they attempt to roll into the Kongs with, similarly to the roles of millstone-riding Gnawtys in the original Donkey Kong Country and Buzzbites from Donkey Kong Country Returns. Lemmingtons can be defeated only from Cranky Kong's Cane Bounce, though the Kongs can stun them temporarily using a Ground Pound.
