History

New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Pendulum Platforms first appear in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. They are chained red platforms sway from side-to-side indefinitely, and only appear in World 1-Tower.

New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Luigi U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

Pendulum Platforms return in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U, exhibiting the exact same behavior as in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, albeit now being colored blue. They appear in Lemmy's Swingback Castle in the former and in Lemmy's Lights-Out Castle in the latter.

Pendulum Platforms reprise the aformentioned roles in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.
