A Metal Mushroom Orb is an item used in Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7. This Orb is a Self-Orb, meaning it can be used on the player. When a player uses it on him or herself, the player turns into metal. Trap-Orbs are then ineffective on the spaces the player passes by. When the player grabs the Metal Mushroom Orb in Star Sprint, the Orb's music is the same as the traditional invincibility theme heard after obtaining a Star. In Mario Party 7, the price for buying a Metal Mushroom Orb varies greatly. It can either cost as little as five coins or as much as 30.
