Thwomp Orb

The Thwomp Orb first appears in Mario Party 6, where players can only place it on a space as a roadblock. It costs ten coins or five during a flash sale at the Orb Shop. Opponents that pass a space containing the Orb get flattened by a Thwomp, ending their turn. In Mario Party 7, it is reused for the same purpose. If a player is under the effect of the Metal Mushroom Orb, the Thwomp will attempt to crush that player, but it will be deflected, negating the roadblock.
