A Chain Chomp Capsule is a capsule appearing only in Mario Party 5. It can be thrown onto a space on the board, or used on the player for fifteen coins. When somebody lands on a space containing this capsule, a Chain Chomp appears. He steals coins from opponents for free and a Star for 30 coins. This is like Boo from past Mario Party games (via the Boo Bell or the Boo's Crystal Ball), though the price for a Star is 20 coins cheaper and he usually does not steal many coins.
