Effect Dispense a power-up that turns Mario into Super Mario Great

The Henshin Capsule is a dispenser resembling a pen that appears in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 7 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. When activated, it summons a power-up that allows Mario to become Super Mario Great.

Mario is given this item from Great himself, after he crushes him with its statue form, then fuses with him. Great tells him to use the capsule in case of extreme danger, referring to the kaiju robots Bowser sics on Mario and his friends. Mario is able to keep the capsule a secret to everyone, transforming away from curious eyes. In chapter 3, however, Mario accidentally drops the capsule and Luigi finds it and accidentally activates it, becoming Great himself. Mario manages to retrieve it, while Luigi attributes this experience to a dream.

In the last chapter, Wendy finally catches Great mid-transformation and discovers Mario's secret, then steals the capsule, preventing him from crashing Bowser's wedding with Princess Peach and Princess Daisy. However, a friendly Ninji retrieves it, and Super Mario Great saves the princesses. It is unknown what happens to the capsule at the end of the manga, though considering how Great parts ways with Mario, it likely returned to its rightful owner.
