A Metal Mushroom Orb is an item used in Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7. This Orb is a Self-Orb, meaning it can be used on the player. When a player uses it on him or herself, the player turns into metal, similar to the Metal Cap's effect in Super Mario 64. Trap-Orbs are then ineffective on the spaces the player passes by. When the player grabs the Metal Mushroom Orb in Star Sprint, the Orb's music is the same as the traditional invincibility theme heard after obtaining a Star.
