Variant of Pokey

Cactus Jacks[1] are large beige Pokeys with a target on their chest. They can be moved if Yoshi throws a Yoshi's egg at them. If they come into contact with anything when rolling, they explode and shoot out coins. Cactus Jacks appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. They are named after politician John "Cactus Jack" Garner.[2] Cactus Jack's English name may also be a reference to Mick Foley's professional wrestling alter-ego.

While Cactus Jacks do not appear during gameplay of Yoshi's New Island, they have an unused model with a set of animations.[3] Its eyes and coloration look more similar to standard Pokeys.
