Vampire Bat Wario,[1] also known as simply Bat Wario,[2] is one of Wario's many transformations in the Wario Land series of games, appearing in Wario Land 4. It only appears in two levels, the Sapphire Passage and the Golden Passage.
It can be triggered by coming in contact with a Minicula, causing Wario to sprout a pair of pointy fangs, his arms transforming into batwings, his eyes turning red and becomes a vampire bat. This reaction is similar in ability and appearance to the bat form of Vampire Wario, a key difference being that he cannot transform into an actual vampire, unlike Wario Land 3. To turn into his normal self, he must go into a patch of light or fall into a pool of water.
