History[edit]

Mario Party 6[edit]

Mario Party 6 marks the first appearance of "Slow and Steady". Three additional arrangements of the theme are also present in Block Star.

A more fast-paced arrangement of "Slow and Steady" plays once the timer reaches 10 seconds or if the stack of blocks is close to the top. It is titled "Block Star 1" in the game's sound test.

A unique arrangement of "Slow and Steady" plays if the player reaches level 46 in the one-player version. It is titled "Block Star 2" in the game's sound test.

A more fast-paced arrangement of "Block Star 2" plays if both of the above conditions are met. It is titled "Block Star 3" in the game's sound test.

Mario Party DS[edit]

In Mario Party DS, a medley arrangement of "Serious Competition" from Mario Party 5, "Slow and Steady" from Mario Party 6, "Try Hard, Folks" from Mario Party 4, "On Your Toes" from Mario Party 3, and "A Rare Minigame" from Mario Party 7 plays in all six Puzzle minigames, including the returning Block Star. Mario Party: The Top 100[edit]

In Mario Party: The Top 100, an arrangement of "Slow and Steady" plays in Chip Shot Challenge, Block Star, Slot Trot, and Trap Ease Artist. It is titled as such in the game's sound test, though without any disambiguation from the Mario Party 7 track of the same name (however, in all languages other than English, both tracks have different names).

Mario Party Superstars features two arrangements of "Slow and Steady."

A faithful arrangement of "Slow and Steady" plays in Trap Ease Artist, Money Belt (now named X-Ray Payday), and Block Star. It is titled "Slow and Steady (Mario Party 6)" in the game's sound test to disambiguate it from the Mario Party 7 track.

A brief orchestral arrangement of "Slow and Steady" plays during the staff credits when showcasing minigames from Mario Party 6. The entire theme is likewise titled "Staff Credits" in the game's sound test.
