File:Smb3mushroomkings.png Human Although uncommon, there are Humans who are native to the Mushroom Kingdom. They have a more cartoon design unlike the ones in the Metro Kingdom. The most notable Mushroom Kingdom humans would be Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Wario, Waluigi, and Princess Daisy. Most of the Humans in the Mushroom Kingdom reside in Diamond City.
Group artwork of the Toads from Super Mario Run. Toad Toads are the main residents of the Mushroom Kingdom. They appear to be short with caps that can come in many different colors. The most common places Toads reside is Toad Town, Rose Town, Petalburg, Poshley Heights, and Mushroom City.
A Goomba in Super Mario Odyssey Goomba Goombas are another Mushroom-like species that reside in the Mushroom Kingdom, but not as common as Toads due to joining with Bowser. The only known area that friendly Goombas reside in is Goomba Village.

They come in many other subspecies including Para Koopas, Dry Bones, Shady Koopas, and KP Koopas. The places they reside in the Mushroom Kingdom are Koopa Village, Petalburg, and Neo Bowser City.
File:Hammer Bro-NSMBU.png Hammer Bro Hammer Bros. are another type of Koopa that live in Bowser's Kingdom. They are very similar in appearance with Koopa Troopas and reside in Neo Bowser City.
File:Lakitu-NSMBU.png Lakitu Lakitus are a unique type of Koopa that is always found riding on a cloud. Unlike most Koopas, they have small round noses and a shell with circular stripes on it. They mainly reside in Flower Fields.
Artwork of a Piranha Plant from Super Mario 3D Land Piranha Plant Piranha Plants are a type of Plant that lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. They seem to resemble Venus Fly Traps but are red with white spots. Some Piranha Plants, like Stalking Piranha Plants, have stubby little feet in order to move instead of using their leaves. They reside in Piranha Plant Slide, Mt. Lavalava, and Petal Meadows.
File:CheepCheepsmg.PNG Cheep Cheep Cheep Cheeps are a species of Fish that live across the Mushroom Kingdom. They come in many different colors and have many different subspecies like Spiny Cheep Cheeps. Despite being fish, they appear to be able to breath out of water and may travel where ever they desire. They mainly reside in Cheep Cheep Beach and Cheep Cheep Lagoon.
Artwork of Mega Blooper in Mario Party: Star Rush (later used as the Bloopers' artwork in Super Mario Party) Blooper Bloopers are a species of Squid that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. Simillarly to Cheep Cheeps, they are also able to travel on land. They mainly reside in Blooper Beach and Toad Town Tunnels.
File:BuzzybeetleNSMBU.png Buzzy Beetle Buzzy Beetles are small Koopas that live in the Mushroom Kingdom and Bowser's Kingdom. They have a blue shell that is resistant to almost anything and are able to climb on ceilings. Buzzy Beetles also have a couple of other subspecies which are Spike Tops and Para-Beetles. It is said that Buzzy Beetles used to roam everywhere around the Mushroom Kingdom, but have become very rare nowadays. They can be found in the Dry Dry Ruins and the Creepy Steeple.
Spiny artwork from New Super Mario Bros. 2 Spiny Spinies are a type of Koopa that looks very simillar to Buzzy Beetles. Although their shells aren't as tough as a Buzzy Shell, they are completly covered in Spikes and can't be jumped on. They mainly reside in Flower Fields.
A Lava Bubble in Super Mario Run. Lava Bubble Lava Bubbles are a type of species that live in the Mushroom Kingdom, Luncheon Kingdom, and Bowser's Kingdom. They are spirits made of lava. They mainly reside in Mt. Lavalava, Pirate's Grotto, Mount Volbono, and Bowser's Castle.
Subcon Subcon Subcons are a species of Fairy like people that live in Sub-Con. They have the ability to contact people via their dreams in a similar manor with the Pi'illo.
File:ShyGuyMSS.PNG Shy Guy Shy Guys are a race that resides in the Mushroom Kingdom. While their true appearance is unknown, they always apear to wear identical masks and cloaks that come in many different colors. They come in many different varieties including Snifits and Beezos. They reside in Shy Guy's Toybox, Shy Guy Bazaar, and Wild Woods.
File:Birdo3-CaptainSelect-MSS.png Birdo Birdos are a species of Dinosaurs that appear in the Mushroom Kingdom and Sub-Con. They look very similar in appearance with Yoshis and may even have an alliance with the tribe.
A Ninji in Super Mario Run. Ninji Ninjis are a small species of Ninja like people that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. They always appear to wear rather black or purple clothing that covers their bodies. They reside in Starborn Valley.
Bob-omb Buddy Bob-omb Bob-ombs are a species of Bomb like characters that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. They tend to be very irritable and can explode at will (and survive). They mainly reside in Bob-omb Battlefield, Koopa Village, and Fahr Outpost.
File:Pokey.png Pokey Pokeys are a species of cactus that lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. They always reside in desert areas including Dry Dry Ruins.
File:Sidestepper1.png Sidestepper Sidesteppers are a species of crab that lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. Although some have been found wondering in the sewers of New Donk City, they mainly reside Cheep Cheep Beach.
Boom Boom in Super Mario Run. Boom Boom Boom Booms are a species of Koopa that lives in Bowser's Kingdom. While there has been speculation, it's currently unknown if they are Bowser's species of Koopa. They reside in Bowser's Castle.
Spike Spike Spikes are a type of Koopa that resides in the Mushroom Kingdom. Unlike the rest of the Koopas, Spikes only have a small black shell that thry can't hide in. They mainly live in Tubba Blubba's Castle.
Artwork of Boo from Mario Party: Island Tour Boo Boos are a type of Ghost that lives across the Mushroom Kingdom. They tend to be very shy and will stop moving if seen. They reside Boo's Mansion, Gusty Gulch, Creepy Steeple, Twisted Mansion, and Luigi's Mansion.
File:Thwomp.png Thwomp Thwomps are a race of stone creatures that are thought to be guardians to most castles or ruins in the Mushroom Kingdom and Throwback Galaxy. They reside in Shwonk Fortress, Thwomp Ruins, and Whomp's Fortress.
Bone Twister from Super Mario Galaxy. Tweester Tweesters are a species of Tornado-like characters that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. They reside in Dry Dry Desert and wonder around the desert.
MTA Models ChainChomp.png Chain Chomp Chain Chomps are a species of metallic creatures that live in the Mushroom Kingdom and Cascade Kingdom. Although most of them are shown to be pets (referencing the fact that their based off dogs), they've also been shown to play sports at The Glitz Pit and tennis. They have been shown to reside Fossil Falls.
Viruses DrMarioMC.png Virus Viruses are a strange race of creatures from an unknown planet. So far there are six different types of Viruses which are Fever, Chill, Weird, Dizzy, Confused, and Drowsy.
Artwork of all the ten different colored Yoshis in Yoshi's Island DS Yoshi Yoshis are a one of the most well known Dinosaur species that lives in Mushroom Kingdom They come in many different colors and are very friendly. They reside in Dinosaur Land, Yoshi Circuit, and Yoshi's Village.
An alternate version of Wiggler's artwork from Mario Kart 7. Wiggler Wigglers are a species of caterpillar that lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. They usually are very friendly unless they are irritated. Eventually, they will grow to become Flutters. They reside in Dimble Woods.
MontymolesNSMBU.png Monty Mole Monty Moles are a species of Mole that lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. They also have a couple of sub-species including Morty Moles and Rocky Wrenches. They are mainly found in rocky areas like Mt. Rugged.
Artwork of two Chargin' Chucks from Super Mario 3D World. Chargin' Chuck Chargin' Chucks are a type of Koopa that lives in Bowser's Kingdom. They are always in American Football gear. They have a slight resemblence to the Hammer Bro. species. They mainly reside in Bowser's Castle.
Super Mario Galaxy promotional artwork: A Magikoopa or Kamek holding his wand (reused for Mario Party DS as his artwork) Magikoopa Magikoopas are another type of Koopa that lives in Bowser's Kingdom. They always can be found wearing coaks and a wizard hat in matching colors. Each one also has a pair of glasses that covers almost their entire face. They reside in Bowser's Castle, where they serve him.

A Hothead from Super Princess Peach. Hothead Hotheads are an electrical species similar to Lava Bubbles that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. The also have another smaller varient called Li'l Sparkies. They reside in Shy Guy's Toybox.
A Swoop in Super Mario Run. Swoop Swoops are bat-like creatures that live in the Mushroom Kingdom They prefer to reside in dark places like Dry Dry Ruins, Creepy Steeple, and Wario's Gold Mine.
FishboneNSMBU.png Fish Bone Fish Bones are a undead species of fish that live in the Mushroom Kingdom and Bonefin Galaxy. Their leader is Kingfin who can be found on his own planet in Bonefin Galaxy. They seem to have an alliance with Bowser.
Artwork of a Bandit, from Yoshi's New Island. Bandit Bandits appear to be a type of Shy Guy that resides in the Mushroom Kingdom. Unlike usual Shy Guys, they have less baggy cloaks and always have a grin on their face. They can mainly be found in Rogueport.
Big Lantern Ghost Lantern Ghost Lantern Ghosts are a type of Shy Guy-like Ghost that lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. Not too much is known about these guys, other than the fact that they really love the dark. They reside in Shy Guy's Toybox.
Artwork of a Raven from Yoshi Topsy-Turvy Raven Ravens are a species that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. They are small black birds that live in harmony with the Yoshis. Most of them speak their own language where every word is replaced with "caw" (Perhaps it's morce code or something like that). They reside in Jade Jungle.
Paper Bumpty.png Bumpty Bumpties are a species of Penguin that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. They reside in Shiver City although they don't get to many visitors due to it being to cold. They also reside in Poshley Heights.
MouserPMTTD.png Little Mouser Little Mousers (aka Mowz) are a race of mice that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. They seem to rival Bandits in their thieving but much more sneaky. They reside Dry Dry Outpost and Rogueport.
Artwork of a Crazee Dayzee from Yoshi's New Island. Dayzee Dayzees are an anthropomorphic flower-like species that live in the Mushroom Kingdom. While most Dayzees tend to be enemies (which is kinda ironic seeing how innocent they look), there is a town called Jazzafrazz Town where friendy Dayzees reside.
Artwork of an Ukiki with a Pokey. Ukiki Ukikis are a species of Primate that lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. They tend to really enjoy fruit and will even use it to attack foes. Most Ukikis reside in Tall Tall Mountain, and Yoshi's Island.
Mallow.gif Nimbus Nimbus are a race of cloud-like people who live above the Mushroom Kingdom and possibly in the Cloud Kingdom. They seem to slighty resemble Lakitu's Cloud, except that they have full bodies. They reside in Nimbus Land.
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars promotional artwork: A Shaman Shaman Shamans are cloaked people that live in the Mushroom Kingdom and Flipside/Flopside. Many Shaman clans appear in different areas and are named after there purpose. They reside in Shooting Star Summit, Rogueport Sewers, Sunken Ship, and Belome Temple.
File:Frogdisciple.gif Frog Anthropomorphic Frogs live in the Mushroom Kingdom. They also are accompanied by their younger stage in life, Tadpoles. they reside in Tadpole Pond.

File:Penguin.png Penguin Penguins are a species that lives in the Mushroom Kingdom, Snow Kingdom, Beach Bowl Galaxy, and Sea Slide Galaxy. They enjoy living in cold areas like Cool, Cool Mountain, Sherbert Land, and Shiveria but also live in tropical areas like the Heavenly Beach Planet.
SMO Lake Brochure E.png Dorrie Dorries are a species of aquatic Dinosaurs that live in the Mushroom Kingdom, Lake Kingdom, and Seaside Kingdom. They are known to be just as friendly as Yoshis although they tend to complain about not having enough space to swim. Thet reside in Dire, Dire Docks, Lake Lamode, and Bubblaine.

Mr.I MP2.png Mr. I Mr. I are a very unique species of ghost that resides in the Mushroom Kingdom and The Void. They reside in Big Boo's Haunt and Castle Bleck.
StarSpirits.jpg Star Spirits Star Spirits are Star-like beings that live above the Mushroom Kingdom. They watch over the Star Rod which help the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom dream. They reside in Star Haven.
