Mario, about to sling a Fan.
“This operation looks pretty shady, but I have to admit, the thing stickers are pretty amazing.”
Kersti, Paper Mario: Sticker Star

Sling-a-Thing (known in British English as Fling-a-Thing) is a carnival stand in Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

After the Toads unroll and restore Decalburg's plaza, if Mario heads left, he will find a stand operated by a Purple Toad. However, the Toad will tell Mario the stand is not yet open. After obtaining the Cat-o-Luck in Bouquet Gardens, the stand will open for business. When Mario stands on the platform, he can select a Thing and throw it at the board in front. The Thing is then turned into a sticker that is usable in battle or in Paperization.

Another stand operated by a Red Toad appears in Outlook Point inside an alcove right of the sticker shop.
