The term Shroobified[citation needed] is used to describe someone or something that has been altered, changed, or created by the Shroob alien race in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. This most commonly refers to how the Shroobs placed purple fungus-like growths around the Mushroom Kingdom, transforming some people into Shroob Mushrooms. Fortunately the process can be reversed by baby tears. When exposed to these tears, people who have been turned into Shroob Mushrooms return to their normal selves; Stuffwell describes this as being able to "re-Toadify" the victims, even if they are not Toads. In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, various enemies resembled Fawful instead. This process is known as Fawfulization according to Fawful.

Shroobified Enemies

Trivia

  • In early versions of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, there were shroobified Bloopers, called "Scoot Bloops", that were meant to be an enemy in the Vim Factory, but they went unused in the final release.
