The Frog[edit]
In the episode "Reptiles in the Rose Garden", Mario becomes Frog Mario to find the White House after King Koopa banishes it to the bottom of the Mushroom Sea. The Frog[citation needed] plays as Frog Mario is chased by a Blooper Nanny, and later a Jelectro.

In the episode "Mind Your Mummy Mommy, Mario", Wipe Out[citation needed] plays as Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad escape from Castle Koopa with Prince Mushroomkhamen's mummy case. Wipe Out is an actual song by The Surfaris, and has since been edited out in later airings of the show.
The Latin American version makes the first few seconds of the song almost entirely muted.

In Misadventures in Babysitting, a longer version plays after Kooky floods the Pipe Maze with lava. The Writer's Bible extra for Princess Toadstool also contains the very beginning of the song.

The song later plays when Toad and Princess Toadstool enter the castle to stop the crowning of King Koopa. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is an actual song by Cyndi Lauper, and has since been edited out in later airings of the show. However, the song cover can still be heard on the King Koopa Katastrophe DVD.

In the episode "Toddler Terrors of Time Travel", a time travel mishap to stop the Mario Bros. from ever coming to the Mushroom Kingdom reverts King Koopa, Kooky, Mario, Luigi and Toad to babies as they travel back in time to Brooklyn. As babies, King Koopa and Kooky pursue Mario, Luigi and Toad through the streets to Baby Face.[citation needed] Baby Face is an extremely altered version of the original song originally performed by Jan Garber, and has since been edited out in later airings of the show. However, the song cover can still be heard on the King Koopa Katastrophe DVD.

In the episode "Dadzilla", Big Mouth and Kootie Pie bring the movie monster Madzilla to life, and convince him that he is their real father so that they can run amok in Hollywood. Madzilla eventually brings the entire Hollywood Bowl to Big Mouth and Kootie Pie for them to perform their own concert, at which point they sing Gonna Stomp My Name on the Walk of Fame.[3]

In the episode "Oh, Brother!", Brotherly Love[4] is played while Luigi swims through a flooded Pipe Maze in a Frog Suit to rescue Mario, who has been captured by King Koopa and Kooky, despite their recent fight. In the Brazilian dub, this song is replaced with The Frog. This is also the only song to not be present at all in the Italian version, being replaced with The Double Cross.

My Karoobi[edit]
In the episode "Super Koopa", King Koopa takes advantage of his magic pendant to grant himself a Karoobi, and engages in a super-powered fight against Mario and Luigi. As they fight, the song My Karoobi[citation needed] plays. My Karoobi is a mild spoof of the song "My Sharona".
The instrumental was played in place of "Rawhide" in "Butch Mario & The Luigi Kid", "The Power of Love" in "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em", "Danger Zone" in "Brooklyn Bound", "Thriller" in "Count Koopula", "Secret Agent Man" in "On Her Majesty's Sewer Service", "La Bamba" in "The Mark of Zero", and the second instance of "White Wedding" in the Captain N episode "Mr. and Mrs. Mother Brain".
The lines in green are played during the episode, but are not heard on the bonus disc of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3: The Complete Series DVD. The lines in yellow are not played on the second disc due to a glitch.

Mega Move[edit]
Mega Move[citation needed] is a song originating from an episode of Captain N: The Game Master entitled "The Feud of Faxanadu". An instrumental version of this song was later incorporated into The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 to replace the copyrighted songs that were included in Mind Your Mummy Mommy, Mario, The Beauty of Kootie, Princess Toadstool for President, Reign Storm, Toddler Terrors of Time Travel, and Kootie Pie Rocks. However, the entire song, complete with lyrics, was included on Shout! Factory's The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 DVD set, despite the fact the lyrics were never heard on the show.

- The Italian version replaces most songs with longer instrumental versions, and the Brazilian Portuguese version by Herbert Richers translates all songs present except "Wipe Out", "Brotherly Love" and the reprise of "I'm a Hurricane", while all the other dubs leave the songs in English. The same applies to the other two Brazilian dubs made by BKS and Uniarthe.
