English[edit]

DK:
Two words, first word sing
Sounds like sing?
Uh, bing, ping, ring
Ding-a-ling!

Second word, sounds like cool?
Sounds like cool!
Pool, tool, drool, fool!

Ah! I got it, I got it!
You wanna sing a ding-a-ling
Like a cool dancing fool!

FUNKY:
Donkey-dude, you got it all wrong,
Like your head was on stun while you were singin' this song!
It's desperate!
It's urgent!
'Cause Kongo Bongo Island is headed for doom!

Singer French lyrics Translation
DK

En deux mots, premier : "air" ?
Voyons voir…
"Chair", "terre", "mer", "populaire" ?

In two words, first one: "tune"?
Let's see…
"Flesh", "earth", "sea", "popular"?

Deuxième mot, c'est pas "froid" ?
Ou alors "roi", "soir", "toi", "moi" ?

Second word, isn't that "cold"?
Or maybe "king", "evening", "you", "me"?

Ha, j'ai trouvé, j'ai trouvé !
Tu veux chanter un air populaire
Rien que pour toi et moi

Ha, I got it, I got it!
You want to sing a popular tune
Just for you and me

Funky

Donkey Kong, tu es dans le faux
J'ai compris tout à coup quand tu chantais ton morceau
C'est sérieux, c'est urgent
Car l'île de Kongo Bongo risque de disparaître !

Donkey Kong, you are wrong
I suddenly understood when you were singing your song
It's serious, it's urgent
Because Kongo Bongo Island is in danger of disappearing!
