Banana fish rolls are foul-tasting food items served at Funky's Bodacious Bistro in the Donkey Kong Country television series episode "Hunka Hunka Burnin' Bluster." Each consists of a fictional species, known as banana fish, wrapped in a roll. Both Candy Kong and Diddy Kong are shown not to like banana fish rolls, with Candy lying that she does not want a banana fish because she is trying to cut down on unhealthy food, and Diddy is shown to find them disgusting after learning of what they consist. They are based on sushi.
