This level has a Layer-Cake Desert setting, where the player must hit P-Switches to turn coins into Brick Blocks in order to progress; it is based on the first course in the Nerve-Wrack Pack released as DLC for New Super Mario Bros. 2, and is similar to 7-7 from Super Mario Bros. 3.

It takes place in an underwater cavern, where a Cheep-Chomp is persistently trying to eat Mario. This can be used to defeat enemies and thus open paths.

Taking place in a frozen cave similar to Icicle Caverns, this level features swinging hammer-like platforms that help Mario to cross bottomless pits.
