Boomsday Machine Daredevil Run is the second mission of Bowser Jr.'s Boom Bunker in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This mission will become available if the player collected the Comet Medal in the previous mission and when a Prankster Comet is in orbit.

Mission[edit]

For this mission, the player has to do the entirety of the first mission, though this time, the player only has one health. The objective and layout of the mission is the same as the previous, except the planet with the moving platforms is replaced with a planet made of dark matter with Dry Bones and a moving platform that goes through raised portions of the dark matter. After the platform is an area where the player needs to use a Cloud Flower to progress to the Launch Star that will send the player to the arena where the Boomsday Machine is fought once more, which uses the same tactics and has the same method of defeating it as the last battle.
