Purple Coin Shadow Vault is the second mission of the Puzzle Plank Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. The mission is only playable if the player collected the Comet Medal in the The Puzzling Picture Block mission and when a Prankster Comet is in orbit.
Mission[edit]
When the player chooses this mission, they will automatically head into the Warp Pipe located on the Pound Pillars Planet. The player has one minute to collect 100 Purple Coins. There are 25 sets of purple coins, each containing four coins. The player will also need to avoid the Cosmic Clones that appear when starting the mission. This mission will only become available once the Purple Comet is in orbit.
