Bulb Berry's Purple Coin Glow is the second mission of the Sweet Mystery Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and its Nintendo Switch port. This mission can only be played if the player collected the Comet Medal in the previous mission and when there is a Prankster Comet in orbit. This mission's objective is to collect 100 Purple Coins.

Mission[edit]

The Purple Comet must be unlocked in order to select this mission. The player's goal is to collect all 100 Purple Coins. To collect them all, the player will need to use Yoshi and the Bulb Berry to open up new paths. If they manage to get all of the coins, they will earn a Power Star.
