Jumping Around in the Dark is the first mission of the Flash Black Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and its Nintendo Switch port.

Layout

To complete this mission, Mario or Luigi must make their way to the Maze Planet. To do so, he must release Yoshi from his egg on the first planet and have him eat a Blimp Fruit. He will then be able to float in the air and clear the vertical maze. The Launch Star is found on the right side of the maze, and will lead to the Maze Planet. Here, he must collect all five of the Silver Stars without falling in the dark. Once all of the Silver Stars are collected, a Power Star will appear at the end of the Maze Planet.
