This is a list of the 81 Power Moons (79 regular Power Moons and 2 Multi Moons) that can be found in the Metro Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey.

The player must defeat the two Big Poison Piranha Plants in the New Donk City Power Plant in order to receive this Power Moon. Available after collecting all 4 Power Moons from the band members.

A Traditional Festival!
The player will receive a Multi Moon upon talking to Pauline at the New Donk City Festival. Available after collecting the "Powering Up the Station" Power Moon.

Inside an Iron Girder
Along the western side of the city, the player can find a stack of crates blocking the entrance to an iron girder. If the player destroys the crates and enters the iron girder, they can find a Power Moon at the other end. Available from the start.
9 The ninth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Swaying in the Breeze
Near the Heliport checkpoint, the player can find a Power Moon in the air above a swinging girder. Available from the start.
10 The tenth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Girder Sandwich
On the eastern side of the city, the player should look for a Power Moon between two girders. To reach it, Mario must wall jump up the girders to obtain the Moon. Available from the start.
11 The eleventh Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Glittering Above the Pool
From the New Donk City Hall Rooftop, the player should look for a rooftop pool on a building to the west. To reach it, Mario must perform a long jump from the City Hall Rooftop to land on top of the building with the pool. Finally, the player must bounce off the nearby umbrella to reach the Power Moon high above the pool. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.
12 The twelfth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Dizzying Heights
The player must climb to the top of the New Donk City Hall, where a Power Moon can be found waiting. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.
13 The thirteenth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Secret Girder Tunnel!
Near the Odyssey, the player can locate a Power Moon hidden inside an iron girder. To access it, Mario must enter the iron girder through an opening on its northern face. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.
14 The fourteenth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Who Piled Garbage on This?
From the Main Street Entrance checkpoint, the player can either bounce off the bouncy platforms or capture a spark pylon and a pole to reach the building rooftops to its west. On top of the roofs, the player must reach the western corner and find a pile of glowing garbage. If the player ground pounds the spot under the garbage, they will receive a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.
15 The fifteenth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Hidden in the Scrap
At the Mayor Pauline Commemorative Park, the player can find a broken piece of the Mechawiggler. If Mario ground pounds this piece, he will receive a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.
16 The sixteenth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Left at the Café?
At the Outdoor Café, the player should reach the lower rooftop (below the rooftop pool) and locate a pile of birds on the building. If the player ground pounds the spot in the center of the birds, they will be rewarded with a secret Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.
17 The seventeenth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Caught Hopping on a Building!
At the Rooftop Garden area, the player can find a rabbit hopping around the rooftops. If Mario catches the rabbit, he will be rewarded with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "A Traditional Festival!" Multi Moon.
18 The eighteenth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
How Do They Take Out the Trash?
From the New Donk City Hall Rooftop, the player should look for a trash container on top of an iron girder to the east. To reach the container, Mario must long jump from the City Hall Rooftop to the iron girder. Once Mario opens the trash container (by throwing Cappy at it), he will receive a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.
19 The ninteenth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Metro Kingdom Timer Challenge 1
On the western side of the city, the player can find a scarecrow. Mario must throw Cappy onto the scarecrow, which will temporarily reveal some seesaws and a Power Moon above them. The player must then use the seesaws to collect the Power Moon before it disappears. Available after collecting the "A Traditional Festival!" Multi Moon.
20 The twentieth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Metro Kingdom Timer Challenge 2
At the highest point of the New Donk City Hall Rooftop, the player can find a motor scooter and a P Switch. Mario must jump onto the motor scooter and drive onto the P Switch, which will temporarily reveal a checkered-pathway. The player must then drive across the path and collect the key, which will unlock the locked panel containing the Power Moon. Finally, Mario must collect the Power Moon before it disappears. Available after collecting the "A Traditional Festival!" Multi Moon.
21 The twenty-first Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
City Gardening: Building Planter
In the park near the Main Street Entrance checkpoint, the player can find three seeds. Mario must take one of these seeds to a flower pot located on top of a building in the south-western corner of the kingdom, to the left of the RC car course. After about 4 minutes, the seed will fully sprout into a flower, which will reward the player with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

City Gardening: Plaza Planter
In the park near the Main Street Entrance checkpoint, the player can find three seeds. Mario must take one of these seeds to a flower pot located in the north-eastern corner of this park. After about 4 minutes, the seed will fully sprout into a flower, which will reward the player with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

City Gardening: Rooftop Planter
In the park near the Main Street Entrance checkpoint, the player can find three seeds. Mario must take one of these seeds to a flower pot located on top of the building next to the Slots mini-game room. After about 15-20 minutes, the seed will fully sprout into a flower, which will reward the player with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

At the northern end of the kingdom, the player can find Captain Toad on an iron girder. Talking to him will reward Mario with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Free Parking: Rooftop Hop
In the north-eastern corner of the kingdom (on top of a building), the player can find a parking space built for motor scooters. If Mario can take the motor scooter located at the Main Street Entrance checkpoint to this parking space, he will be rewarded with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Bench Friends
Near the Crazy Cap Shop, the player can find a lonely New Donker sitting on a bench. If Mario sits next to this man, he will give the player a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

The player can purchase a Power Moon from the Crazy Cap Shop for 100 yellow Coins. Available from the start.

On the western side of the kingdom, the player can find a building decorated with Tostarena-styled wallpaper. If Mario enters this building, he can play the Slots mini-game. Next to the "Remotely Captured Car" Power Moon, the player can find a building with the RC Car mini-game. If Mario can complete the mini-game race (three laps in under 35 seconds), he will receive a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "Remotely Captured Car" Power Moon.

Taking Notes: In the Private Room
On the main street, the player should look for an open building along the left side. Mario must enter this building to find a rainbow-colored treble clef. If the player can collect all the notes from the treble clef before they disappear, Mario will receive a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

City Hall Lost & Found
In the New Donk City Hall Interior, the player should look for a hidden treasure chest at the top of the area. Mario must throw Cappy at the chest, which will open it and reveal a Power Moon. Available from the start.

Sewer Treasure
In the sewers leading to the Underground Power Plant, the player should look for a hidden ledge along the northern wall, where a Power Moon can be found waiting. Available after collecting all 4 Power Moons from the band members.

Celebrating in the Streets!
During the New Donk City Festival, the player should look for a hidden 8-Bit Pipe that leads to a secret room containing this Power Moon. Available after collecting the "Powering Up the Station" Power Moon.
37 The thirty-seventh Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Pushing Through the Crowd
At the Outdoor Café, the player must enter the open building on the western side. Inside, Mario can find a lever on the left wall. To activate it, the player must throw Cappy at it. This will temporarily cause a Power Moon to appear at the other end of the room. Mario must collect this Power Moon before it disappears. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

High Over the Crowd
In the area with the "Pushing Through the Crowd" Power Moon, the player should bounce off the awning over the large door at the end of the area in order to reach a hidden platform high above. Rewiring the Neighborhood
West of the New Donk City Hall, the player can find a locked door being guarded by a New Donker. In order to enter this door, the player needs to wear both the Builder outfit and the Construction hat. Once Mario enters this building, he must reach the end of the area and collect the five Moon Shards located here in order to receive a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.
40 The fortieth Power Moon of the Metro Kingdom.
Off the Beaten Wire
In the area with the "Rewiring the Neighborhood" Power Moon, the player should look for a shiny wooden crate hidden on a side building accessible via the first spark pylon. If Mario destroys this shiny crate, he will receive a secret Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Moon Shards Under Siege
On the main street, the player can find a stationary taxi. If Mario captures the taxi, he can use it to drive off to a secret area filled with Sherms and five Moon Shards. In the south-western corner of the kingdom (near the Crazy Cap Shop), the player can find a manhole cover on the street. Mario must capture this manhole cover and move it out of the way in order to reveal a hidden entrance below. In the area with the "Inside the Rotating Maze" Power Moon, the player must backflip to the top of the rotating maze and then head to the northern end of the maze. Hanging from a High-Rise
In the area with the "Pushing Through the Crowd" Power Moon, the player can find a Warp Pipe at the end of the area. Mario must enter this Pipe to reach a hidden building rooftop, where a Mini Rocket can be found waiting. The player must capture this Mini Rocket and use it to reach a hidden area in the clouds. Mario must traverse through this area by swinging on bars in order to receive a Power Moon. Alternatively, the player can use Cappy to reach an opening between the gates surrounding the Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Vaulting up a High-Rise
In the area with the "Hanging from a High-Rise" Power Moon, the player should look for a bar that moves up and down. Mario must ride this pole up to a hidden pole above and use that one to reach yet another moving pole that goes up and down. Finally, the player must use this moving pole to reach a high secret platform where a Power Moon can be found. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Bullet Billding
Near the New Donk City Hall Plaza, the player should look for an alleyway with an open building at the end. Mario should enter this building and then traverse to the end of the area within in order to receive a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

One Man's Trash...
In the area with the "Bullet Billding" Power Moon, the player must capture a Bullet Bill from the first Bill Blaster and then use it to fly across to a hidden platform with a trash container. If Mario opens the trash container (by throwing Cappy at it or by crashing the Bullet Bill into it), he will receive a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Motor Scooter: Escape!
Near the New Donk City Hall Plaza, the player should look for a triangular-shaped building with an open doorway. Mario must enter this area and then hop on the motor scooter inside. If the player can ride the motor scooter to the end of the area successfully, they will be rewarded with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Big Jump: Escape!
In the area with the "Motor Scooter: Escape!" Power Moon, the player should ride the motor scooter across the top of some wooden crates along the left side in order to find a hidden Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Secret Path to New Donk City!
This Power Moon can be found on the Isolated Rooftop in the south-eastern corner of the kingdom. To reach it, the player must travel through a painting located in a different kingdom:
  • In the Sand Kingdom, the player should look for the painting located on a tall stone pillar where the "On the Lone Pillar" Power Moon (Sand Kingdom) is located.
Available after collecting the "Showdown on the Inverted Pyramid" Multi Moon (Sand Kingdom).

A Tourist in the Metro Kingdom!
After restoring the Sand Kingdom, the player should locate the Desert Wanderer at the Tostarena Town. Mario must talk to the Tostarenan, who states that he wants to go to the Metro Kingdom. Mario can later talk to him near the entrance of New Donk City, and after talking to him there, he awards Mario with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "The Hole in the Desert" Multi Moon (Sand Kingdom).

On the triangular-shaped building where the trumpeter was found, the player should look for the Hint Art located on a slightly lower ledge facing the City Hall. The Art shows a glowing spot located at the Water Plaza in the Lake Kingdom. If Mario travels to the Lake Kingdom and ground pounds the spot shown by the Hint Art, he will be rewarded with a Power Moon. Available after collecting the "New Donk City's Pest Problem" Multi Moon.

Bird Traveling in the City
This bird holding the Power Moon travels around the east side of the city. Mario can jump off certain buildings, street lights, or taxis in order to catch the bird and reveal the Power Moon. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Mario Signs His Name
Letters of Mario's name are scattered around northern Squawks Park. In order to obtain this Power Moon, Mario must capture each of the letters and insert them into the nearby plinths. When all the letters are aligned in the right order, a Power Moon appears in front of the letters. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Surprise Clown!
At the very northwest corner of New Donk City proper, Mario can find a New Donker. If Mario talks to the New Donker, he says he could really use a laugh. Mario has to show up to him wearing the Clown Suit and Clown Hat to make him laugh. He will then give Mario a Power Moon as a thanks. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

A Request from the Mayor
Mario can talk to Mayor Pauline, who will ask him questions about herself so he can learn more about her. After getting four questions in a row right, she tells Mario that it's her birthday today, and would appreciate a gift. Mario must find a new handbag located on a metal platform east of New Donk City Hall. After presenting Pauline the handbag, she gladly gives Mario a Power Moon in return. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Jammin' in the Metro Kingdom
At Southern Squawks Park, Mario can find a Toad listening to music. If Mario talks to the Toad, he will request that the player play a specific piece of music related to the theme of "revving a tiny engine". Only the "RC Car" music will earn the player a Power Moon. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Sphynx in the City
The player can capture the binoculars in southern Cranky Avenue and look northwest to find the Sphynx sailing across the sky. Upon doing so, the Power Moon will land on east Squawks Park. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Free Parking: Leap of Faith
A New Donker has started another scooter parking service atop the building at the intersection of Cranky Avenue and northern Squawks Park Street. To use his service and obtain the Power Moon, Mario must find the scooter at the top of New Donk City Hall, mount it, then jump all the way down to the eastern buildings to get to the parking space. The parking space is near the Green Koopa Troopa racer who hosts the Koopa Freerunning race for this kingdom. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom and collecting the "A Traditional Festival!" Multi Moon.

Metro Kingdom Regular Cup
Atop an eastern building near the "Free Parking: Leap of Faith" Power Moon, the player can find a Koopa Troopa hosting the Koopa Freerunning mini-game. Mario must enter the race and then reach the finish line in first place to be awarded a Power Moon. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Hat-and-Seek: In the City
A Bonneter on the intersection of Cranky Avenue and southern Squawks Park Street says two of his friends wandered off. One of them is in New Donk City proper, riding on the head of a man who walks along the sidewalks of eastern Cranky Avenue and northern Squawks Park Street. Talking to the Bonneter will give Mario this Power Moon. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Powering Up the Power Plant
In the generator room of the Underground Power Plant, there is a large battery that is to be installed to the power plant. The battery can be captured by Mario, and can moved around like the previous puzzle part from the Lake Kingdom. Once the battery is properly installed, the Power Moon appears. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Up on the Big Screen
There is a movie theater on the west side and the north end of Krool Avenue. Inside the projection room, Mario can enter an 8-bit warp pipe to enter the projection screen, showcasing a remake of World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros. The overworld of the level has five Moon Shards scattered across. Collecting all five shards reveals the Power Moon in the projection room. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Down Inside the Big Screen
Within the projection screen of the movie theater, Mario can enter the fourth pipe of the level to find a hidden underground room with several coins and the Power Moon. Available after defeating Bowser in the Moon Kingdom.

Peach and Tiara can be found atop the movie theater building on the west side of the city. Peach offers a Power Moon upon talking to them. Available talking to the Toad outside Peach's Castle (Mushroom Kingdom).

Hanging Between Buildings
Atop the triangular building alongside Rattley Street, Mario can ground pound the red button to reveal a black and white pathway with a time limit to the other triangular building. The Power Moon floats high above the middle of this pathway, so Mario must use a ground pound jump or a somersault to reach it. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Crossing Lines
This moon floats above some coins and an electric wire connected to the theater building and the Rooftop Garden. Mario must capture either spark pylon, ride the wire, then, with the right timing, jump up toward the coins and the Power Moon. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Out of a Crate in the City
The Power Moon is inside a crate on top of the northwest apartment building that leads to the crowded alleyway. When Mario breaks the crate, the Power Moon will land on the Banana Bagels sign. Mario must then dive and cap jump off the water tank to reach this Power Moon. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Bird Traveling in the Park
This bird only flies around Mayor Pauline Commemorative Park. This bird can be best caught via somersault or ground pound jump as it flies over the eastern benches. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Metro Kingdom Timer Challenge 3
There is a scarecrow on the south sidewalk of Dixie Street. When Cappy activates the scarecrow, the Power Moon appears on the square platform in the construction site, with only 10 seconds to grab the moon. Mario can use a motor scooter to reach the Power Moon in time. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Found in the Park! Good Dog!
There is a Nintendog on the northeast corner of Mayor Pauline Commemorative Park. Upon befriending the Nintendog, it will dig around certain spots in the park that Mario can ground pound to reveal coins or the Power Moon, in which the moon is buried in the southeast corner of the park. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Next to the "Remotely Captured Car" Power Moon, the player can find a building with the RC Car mini-game. Power Moon.

Near the area that the handbag for the "A Request from the Mayor" Power Moon is found, the player can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must climb up a "mountain" of blue platforms in a dark room while avoiding Stairface Ogres and can find the Power Moon at the very top on a column surrounded by spikes. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Reaching Pitchblack Island
In the area with the "Scaling Pitchblack Mountain" Power Moon, the player can find a glowing spot located on a small platform separate from the main "mountain". There are Hidden Blocks that Mario can see by throwing Cappy at them, allowing him to safely cross. He must ground pound the glowing spot for the Power Moon to appear. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

On top of one of the buildings south of a triangular building with the ground-pound switch, the player can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must make it through a series of obstacles, including Swinging Scaffoldings with Hammer Bros on them. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Swinging Scaffolding: Break!
In the area with the "Swinging Scaffolding: Jump!" Power Moon, Mario should look for an area with a set of breakable blocks on the far left side. To obtain the Power Moon, Mario must capture a Hammer Bro and throw hammers at the blocks to destroy them and reveal the Power Moon. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Motor Scooter Daredevil!
On top of one of the buildings near a spark pylon, the player can find a Moon Pipe which leads to a bonus area. In this bonus area, Mario must ride a Motor Scooter across many falling blocks as well as hit multiple P Switches to make temporary platforms appear. Many coin rings and Sherms are found along the way. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.

Full-Throttle Scooting!
Near the end of the area with the "Motor Scooter Daredevil!" Power Moon, Mario must make a sharp right turn onto a series of falling blocks that form a thin staircase-like path. At the end of this path, the player can find the Power Moon. Available after opening the kingdom's Moon Rock.
