Super Mario Soccer Striker, known as Super Mario Football Striker in Europe,[2] is a tabletop soccer game released by Epoch in 2025. The game functions in a similar manner to table football.
Details[edit]
To begin play, one is to put the soccer ball in the dimple of the center circle on their side of the field. To kick the ball, players are to manipulate the red and blue rods to move their characters. While one player has the ball, the other player controls the goalie to try to prevent that player from scoring. Once one player scores, the other player receives the ball to "kick off". Each round lasts five minutes; if the score is currently tied, the winner is determined by seeing which player is able to score an additional goal first. If one player kicks the ball out of the field, the other player receives the ball and play restarts from kickoff.
The game features two additional ways to kick the ball, these being the "corner kick" and the "goal kick". To perform a corner kick, one is to pull on the red rod and push on the blue rod when the ball is on the cross point. One is then able to turn a dial to adjust where the ball falls. Additionally, players are allowed to perform a "throw in", in which they use their fingers to toss the ball into play.
