Super Mario Bros. Video-Comic-Magazin Nr. 9 is the ninth issue of the Super Mario Bros. Video-Comic-Magazin. It was released by Condor-Verlagsgruppe in 1992[1] and contains only three comics. The cover art features Luigi holding a gem as Mario looks on; a group of Mushroom People can also be seen cornering Morton while holding spears at him, with the Princess and Toad looking on. Lemmy can also be seen peeking out of a pipe behind Morton, referencing the comic "Bowser Knows Best." This issue is the first issue to feature comics from Captain N: The Game Master.

Notable mistakes and errors[edit]

  • Several coloring errors can be seen on the issue's cover:
    • The underside of Luigi's cap is the same color as his skin, while the stripes on his gloves are the same color as his shirt.
    • Toad's pants are the same color as his vest.
    • Morton is incorrectly colored green like a Koopa Troopa instead of his usual colors, while Mario's shoe is the same color as his body.
