Super Mario Bros. Special Edition No. 1 is a special issue of the Super Mario Bros. comic series. The issue was released by Valiant Comics in 1990.[1] The cover art features Mario and the Fifty-Mile-Musher jumping off King Koopa's Airship while holding its Anchor with Koopa and another Mushroom grinning, referencing the comic "Mutiny on the Fungi," which is featured in this issue. The issue also contains a comic not published in any other issue, "A Mouser in the Houser."
