Adventures of the Super Mario Bros. No. 8 is the eighth issue of the Adventures of the Super Mario Bros. comic series. The issue was released by Valiant Comics in September 1991.[1] The cover art features an angry Mario and King Koopa trying to free themselves from the shackles binding them together as a crowd of mice cheers them on, referencing the comic "The Buddy System," which is featured in this issue.

  • On the issue's cover, the rim of King Koopa's shell is the same dark-green as the rest of the shell, rather than being a lighter green.
