Spinning Spirit House

Template:Levelbox Spinning Spirit House, or Meringue Clouds-Ghost House, is the Ghost House level of Meringue Clouds in New Super Mario Bros. U. It is unlocked by defeating Kamek at Slide Lift Tower, and its own completion unlocks Bouncy Cloud Boomerangs, A Quick Dip in the Sky, and Snaking above Mist Valley. The house also contains a secret exit that reveals a shortcut to Ludwig's Clockwork Castle.

Layout

The ghost house is infested with Boos and obstacles. The house also has a large room that contains many doorways, fake walls, and stone walls that prevent the player from progressing. Apparently, the stone blocks of the room disappear when the player makes their way through certain rooms in the house.

Star Coins

• Star Coin 1: In the room with the lowering platform and a Broozer, the player must tempt the Broozer into breaking the stone blocks that seal in the first Star Coin.
• Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin can easily be found in the room with Circling Boo Buddies and rocking floors. The room can be accessed through the very upper-right door in the main room.
• Star Coin 3: A secret passageway in the main room can be found when the player uses a Springboard to reach it above the door where the first Star Coin lies. The secret passageway leads to a hidden door. In the next room, the player must use the P-Switch and quickly head to the bottom of the room. While there, the player should go through the fake wall to grab the third Star Coin before the time runs out on the P-Switch.

Secret Exit

The player must take the same route used to get the third Star Coin.
