Salt is an ingredient Princess Peach uses to bake a cake for Gourmet Guy in Paper Mario. She does this in return for information concerning the whereabouts of the fifth Star Spirit, which Twink soon relays to Mario. It is located on a wooden table at the rear of the kitchen of Peach's castle in between bowls of Sugar and Eggs. Adding this ingredient to the cake will ruin it.
