Effect Lets Mario use D-Down Jump to stomp while ignoring defense.
Description(s)
Lets you do a D-Down Jump. Uses 2 FP. Disables an enemy's defense power and causes some damage. (Paper Mario)

D-Down Jump is a Badge in Paper Mario. It is found in Tubba Blubba's Castle, accessible by bombing a wall in the room above it with Bombette, using the Spin Jump through a broken floor, and flying to the platform the Badge is on with Parakarry. If Mario is equipped with it, he is able to perform D-Down Jump, which is a jump attack that costs two FP. For that move only, it ignores the defense of the target, making it equal to zero; it always deals the damage of a regular jump.

Merluvlee's predictions in Paper Mario[edit]

  • "I see...a D-Down Jump Badge. In Tubba Blubba's Castle in Gusty Gulch, you enter the left door in the foyer and go in the next door you see. The Badge lies on a big table in the small room. You can't reach it with the jump pad! Instead, you blast into the room above. Inside the hidden room, you smash through the floor and a Paratroopa flies you over the table."
