The "Main Theme"[1] is a musical theme composed by Masayoshi Ishi for Yoshi's New Island, where it plays in the following levels:
- Little Eggs, Big Eggs
- Chomp Rock 'n' Roll
- Heads Up, Hop Up
- Ground Pound Rebound
- Lantern Ghost Grotto
- Metal Eggdozers on a Roll
- Eggstraordinary Terrain
- Crumble Rock Rumble.

Most of the level themes heard in the game are arrangements of "Main Theme."
STAGE_GYPSY, an arrangement of the "Main Theme" that plays in Chomp Rock Challenge, Bandit Valley, and Pyro Guy Peak, returns along the original in its Super Smash Bros. appearances. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the theme, titled "Bandit Valley (Yoshi's New Island)," is a playable track on Woolly World. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the theme, now titled "Bandit Valley," is a playable track on any Super Smash Bros.- and Yoshi-series stage.
An arrangement of "Main Theme" is also incorporated into the game's staff credits music.
